SHOP & OPERATIONS SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, work pieces, and finished goods between workstations, departments, and storage areas
- Assist department supervisors with setup, workflow coordination, and miscellaneous tasks
- Support the maintenance team with light repairs, preventative tasks, and material preparation
- Operate carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) to safely move materials
- Perform warehouse duties including receiving, inventory organization, staging, and shipping support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, storage areas, and common spaces
- Conduct minor janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, and general cleaning
- Monitor and report damaged or non-conforming parts or materials
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform additional general labor tasks as assigned to support operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or maintenance support is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under multiple supervisors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and initiative
- Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with operating a forklift and overhead crane is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying shop conditions.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM
- Opportunity for overtime.
