WELDER (ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION)
Responsibilities
- Load and unload anilox rollers into the grinding machine safely.
- Plan details of work order procedures. Gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
- Repair and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
- Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
- Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
- Operate and use overhead cranes safely.
- Monitor machine for proper functionality.
- Responsible for keeping a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Understanding of welding machines/tools including design, uses, maintenance and repair.
- Understanding of metallurgy.
- Ability to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production according to the specifications on blueprints.
- Ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
- Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.
- Ability to review and understand mechanical blueprints.

Schedule
- 8 hour shifts with a paid lunch break (11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm)
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime is available
